About DBI Sound
DBI Sound actually started in the early 80's. It really wasn't much of a sound company back then as we was really just getting started in the local music scene in the Lawrenceburg/Aurora area of South East Indiana. I am a musician myself and dove right in to the sound reinforcement part of the business as well. I played in several bands since then, the most popular being a four piece rock group called Daddy Banned It. We enjoyed a 15 year run and played clubs all over the the Greater Cincinnati Tri-State area but were best know in Southeast Indiana. I also started running sound and providing systems for other groups, shows, and festivals as my schedule allowed.
Over the last 5 years I have significantly upgraded the sound systems to JBL SR Series, QSC PLX Power and quality processing gear that will ensure a high quality show every time. Also over the last 5 years we have built a small project studio and have the capability to record live shows to 24 tracks and re-mix in the studio. I love doing this type of work and have a passion for it. I have worked with many artist from the local area as well as a National Act or two. You have my promise that I will be up front with you about your needs. If I can handle the job you are requesting I will work hard and produce a great show. If I feel it is a job that I cannot handle I will be upfront with you and tell you immediately and refer you to someone else that can handle bigger shows. I do work with other sound companies and we pool our resources to handle large festival or corporate type events so more often than not we WILL be able to handle your event. In any case I will ALWAYS work hard to maintain your trust and will tell it to you straight up.
